Rubens Barbosa is a senior business adviser based in Sao Paulo, and a popular speaker and writer on global business and trade issues. He served as Brazil’s Ambassador in Washington and London. He has extensive international economic, trade and commercial experience.
Peter Collecott CMG (Co-Chairman) was the British Ambassador to Brazil from 2004 to 2008. Since then he has advised multinationals, governments and NGOs on business, political and sustainable development issues.
Marcelo Colombo Murua has over 40 years’ experience in the Argentine Diplomatic Service. He served as Ambassador to Kuwait and as Minister Counsellor in Saudi Arabia. He is a frequent commentator on Middle Eastern issues.
Garvin Nicholas was High Commissioner to the Court of St James’s and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway and Sweden for Trinidad and Tobago. In 2012 he was awarded Diplomat of the Year from the Americas by Diplomat Magazine. He subsequently served as a Senator and Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago. He is now Head of Chambers at Odysseus Chambers, Attorneys at Law, Trinidad and Tobago.
Néstor Osorio Londoño became Colombia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in February 2014 and retired in mid 2019. After a career as an administrative lawyer, he served as the first Permanent Representative of Colombia to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva from 1995 to 1999. He was Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization from 2002 to 2010, where he had represented Colombia since 1978 when he was named Alternate Delegate and later becoming head of mission and Permanent Representative until 1994. After leaving the WTO, he worked for the Colombian Government as High Advisor for Coffee Policy from September 2000 until his election as Executive Director of the ICO. In November 2010, Osorio became Colombia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York. During April 2011, Colombia held the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council, and Osorio was the Council's president.
Jorge Stok Capella led Argentina’s diplomatic missions in Frankfurt and Toronto, promoting Argentine economic and cultural interests with politicians, bankers, business leaders and cultural organisation.
Duncan Taylor CBE served as Ambassador to Mexico, as Governor of the Cayman Islands and as British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. Brought up in part in Latin America and having served also in New York and in Cuba he has extensive experience of the Americas, including helping British companies win business there.
